Doing Business By Cycle
How your business cycles could help you make right data based decisions.
The previous week, I was talking with one of my clients and he taught me this trick which helps him make smart business decisions that lead to profit, and that’s what I’m going to share here.
So what is it about?
It’s about a Cycle, a business cycle, which repeats itself.
It goes like first cycle, second cycle, third cycle, and so on…
The time between each cycle could be around 1 year or more or less depending on you.
So the question is, How do you work on these cycles?
So here he told me,
First, you’ll work on these at the start of the cycle.
So here, He creates a project and names it like ( {BUSINESSNAME} CYCLE - X )
and then he creates multiple tasks in that project,
Here are a few examples:
Evaluate Ideas: Here you set up your goals and visions for the cycle.
Updated Team: Here you’ll review your team members & their tasks and according to their performance, you might remove some or hire some.
Evaluate Customers: Based on the data of the previous cycle, you’ll upgrade the customer profile that suits best to your business.
Budgeting Plan: You recreate your budget plan for this cycle.
Marketing Planning: You recreate your marketing plans and choose marketing channels, and platforms according to your previous cycle’s data.
Tasks & Projects: Here, you’ll create all the projects/tasks to achieve your goal.
There is more like that….. which you can explore.
Once the tasks are ready, you’ll work on these one by one.
Once the framework is ready, you’re back to business.
and now you’ll work on your business according to previous data & new framework.
And once the cycle is completed, you’ll repeat it again in every new cycle.
I know it might sound lot of work… but data-based business & decisions work far better than random ones.
So it’s worth putting time into this system.
